WHAT THE COST IS MADE OF

A transfer's real cost has two parts: the platform's fee, and the network fee the chain itself charges. The fee is a fixed 1 USDT; you choose how the network fee is paid.
Platform-paid: the network fee is settled from your account balance, nothing to prepare in your wallet. Self-paid: it's drawn from the balance in your own wallet. Before you send, the full cost is shown up front, and you confirm before signing.
How a failed transfer avoids a fee
The fee is held, not charged, when you place the order — it's only deducted once the chain confirms success. On failure or expiry it's released automatically. When the outcome is briefly uncertain (a gateway timeout, for instance), the hold stays in place — neither charged nor released — until a definite result comes back.

A direct on-chain transfer currently costs around 2.24 USDT; through this platform it's a fixed 1 USDT, saving about 1.24 USDT per transfer, unaffected by market swings.
